Integration into Community Planning The Scottish Executive guidance issued in August 2003 stated that local regeneration and social inclusion activity must take place within the wider strategic context of community planning and that each community planning area would be required to demonstrate this, through the submission of a Regeneration Outcome Agreement (ROA). In order to meet this requirement FRAE Fife organised a number of workshops to develop their own understanding of community planning and to identify how best to integrate the work within the developing framework. As a result a working group comprising community representatives, FRAE Fife staff and supported by Policy and Organisational Development was set up to develop a 3 year work programme and expenditure profile. This resulted in a project profile being submitted for inclusion in the ROA. |
