FRAE Fife – Race Equality Partnership (REP) is the only organisation of its kind in Fife, based in the town of Kirkcaldy. It works with many of Fife’s Ethnic Minorities Community Groups and Community Planning Partners.

"Our vision is for a Fife that is free of racism, where diversity is acknowledged and respected, with active and engaged Ethnic Minority Communities, promoting and reflecting a vibrant multicultural society, where all individuals and organisations play their part".

FRAE Fife Executive Board consists of 13 elected community and 7 key Services/Agencies representatives. The community representatives are drawn from the wider Forum membership, which is open to all Ethnic Minorities Community Groups in Fife and all statutory and voluntary sector organisations.

Raising cultural awareness, promoting diversity and tackling racism are key features of FRAE Fife – REP. With our ability to form working partnerships – resources, skills and expertise can be maximised and used to great effect.

FRAE Fife is integral in developing race equality work in Fife and follows a community development approach and encourages Ethnic Minorities individuals to act collectively, within community groups. This approach encourages and supports them to access mainstream services, whilst, at the same time working with service providers to help them become more accessible, responsive and relevant to the Ethnic Minority communities.

In 2007 FRAE Fife has been nominated for CRIMESTOPPERS AWARD due to its effective actions in preventing crimes.
