Hi there, my name is Selma Basha and I am the Race Equality Officer with Fife Council Education Service.

My main remit is to oversee the implementation of the Service’s Race Equality Scheme.

Some of the areas of work that my remit covers are:

I am quite lucky to have the opportunity to go into schools and meet children and young people as well as teaching staff and Service Managers.

I am currently working on establishing a forum that oversees closer participation of BME parents in areas of education that concerns them.
