Rainbow Lives Oral
History Project
MUSLIM WOMEN
Do you have a story to
tell?
Is there information about you
and your family’s experiences, in the past, which you
would like to pass on to future generations?
Rainbow Lives feels it is very
important to have your stories recorded and saved so people
can learn today, and future generations can learn about their
heritage in years to come.
We would like people to record
their stories which can be in their own language and we will
archive these important stories for future generations.
These stories will also be transcribed
into English so others can learn about your history, customs,
songs, poems etc.
Recordings will be made at a
time and place suitable to you.
We are looking for Muslim women
of any age interested in telling their stories and also for
women who are interested in carrying out the interviews.
No experience is necessary as we will train you in the use
of recording equipment and interviewing techniques.
If you would like to find out
more please contact Sandra at Rainbow Lives on 07739041619
