DEVELOPMENT SERVICES GRANTS

PURPOSE - The aim is to support Fife individuals into employment and training opportunities.

A) DISCRETIONARY FUND - a discretionary grant, to assist long term unemployed apeople access job or vocational training opportunities.

Maximum Award - £200

PURPOSE - The aim is to support Fife parents into employment and training opportunities.

B) WORKING FOR FAMILIES FUND - a discretionary grant, to assist parents who want to improve their job prospects or return to work or training by providing support and childcare solutions

Maximum Award - £200 note 1

Note 1 – In exceptional cases consideration may be given to a higher award


PURPOSE - The aim is to assist Social Enterprise organisations to move towards independence and become financially sustainable businesses.

C) SOCIAL ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT FUND - a discretionary grant scheme open to Social Enterprise organisations. Any award must be used to assist business development activity.

Maximum Award - £10,000

PURPOSE - The aim is to support projects (events) that will attract new visitors to Fife, enhance the visitor experience and encourage longer visitor stays in Fife.

D) FIFE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT FUND - a discretionary grant scheme open to community organisations, trade associations, charitable and voluntary groups, tourism business consortia, or similar bodies.

Maximum Award - £1,000 note 2

Note 2 - Normally the maximum grant is £1,000 however in exceptional circumstances grants may be awarded up to £5,000.

NB: Community Councils are not eligible for Development Services Grant
