COMMUNITY INVESTMENT SCHEME |
The aim of the Community
Investment Scheme is to support community consultation, participation,
anti-poverty and social equalities initiatives. This scheme
is generally only available for new and developmental initiatives.
The Community Investment Scheme supports projects that fall
outwith the criteria of the other Community Grants Schemes. |

ENVIRONMENTAL GRANTS |
To promote environmental
conservation and community "environmental awareness"
by helping local voluntary community groups carry out their
own projects. Grants are made available towards materials and
related costs, while the groups manage and provide labour for
the projects. |

COMMUNITY SAFETY PROJECTS
FUND |
The purpose of the Community Safety Projects
Fund is to support local community based initiatives which:

DEVELOPMENT SERVICES GRANTS |
Launchpad Grant Scheme:
The aim is to support Fife individuals into employment and
training opportunities.
Social Economy Development Fund:
The aim is to assist Social Enterprise organisations to move
towards independence and sustainability businesses.

SPECIAL PROJECTS SCHEME |
The scheme aims to make
one-off grants to voluntary organisations whose work complements
the work of Social Work Services. Particular attention will
be given to groups operating within priority areas or serving
priority groups within the terms of Fife Council Policies. Groups
who address equal opportunities issues will also be looked on
favourably. |

YOUTH WORK GRANTS |
Youthwork volunteering training grant:
To assis and encourage volunteers into training
International youth experience grant:
To support voluntary youth organisations and individuals involved
in International Youth Work.
Youth work projects:
To support new and innovative pieces of work with young people.

ARTS & HERITAGE GRANTS |
To support arts and heritage
projects in Fife. |
|
SPORTS GRANTS |
Individual Sports Awards:
To help individual sports people in Fife meet the cost of
competition and training expenses in order to maintain their
staus at District, Regional or National level.
Sports club development:
To assist clubs achieve the clearly stated
aims and objectives in their development plan. The Scheme
will focus on developmental aspects and will not support clubs'
general running costs.
Coach & sports officials training:
To encourage, support and promote training and development
of coaches and officials.

COMMUNITY CAPITAL GRANTS
SCHEME |
To assist organisations
with responsibility for maintenance and operation of halls,
other buildings and associated land on behalf of, and for use
by their local community. Support will be given to capital works
or expenditure on repairs and/or improvements necessary to maintain
the fabric of the building or associated land. |

COMMUNITY ORGANISATION SCHEME |
To provide assistance of
a general nature to voluntary organisations, (but not those
organisations specifically arts/sports related), with help towards:
purchasing equipment; running costs; specific projects. |
|
FLORAL ENHANCEMENT GRANTS |
This grants scheme aims
to assist Community groups, Community Councils and voluntary
organisations who wish to enhance their physical surroundings
by the provision of hanging baskets, tubs, window boxes and
floral displays. |
|
COMMUNITY EVENTS GRANTS SCHEME |
To provide assistance for
the sustainability, delivery and promotion of local community
events and the delivery, development and promotion of larger
scale community events. Support will be given to help with insurance,
promotion, hiring equipment, general administration costs, venue
hire and engaging performers. |

CHILDCARE FUNDS |
Registered childminder start-up:
The £250 initial start-up grant will assist buying items
such as fire blankets, smoke detectors, stair-gates, cupboard
locks, first aid box and manual, socket covers and set up
administration procedures. These items are required to be
in place before registration is granted by the Scottish Commision
for the Regulation of Care. (A fee which is also included
in the start-up fund)
Out of school childcare fund:
The aim of the funding agreement is to support
out of school childcare organisations at a break-even level,
particularly in areas where many parents are on a low income
or where unemployment is high.
Private nursery start-up:
The private nursery start-up fund is intended as an incentive
to those thinking of setting up or increasing numbers in their
own childcare business. You can access up to £12,000
funding from the partnership.
