ACHIEVEMENTS & AWARDS
FRAE Fife is on track to achieve all its targets for 2010–2011 in its Operational Plan and has already exceeded some. What we’ve been doing this year & Frae Fife’s ongoing work.
FRAE Fife has undertaken 7 consultations on behalf of the Community Planning Partnership Organisations with 56 individuals from Ethnic Minorities community having participated.
FRAE Fife has provided information to ethnic minority individuals & Groups.
FRAE Fife has participated in 15 integrated impact assessments from Fife Council services. (Housing, Outdoor Education, sports activity programme, out of school care for children with additional support needs, Fife Childcare & Early Years)
FRAE Fife has worked with 8 partner organisations in promoting race equality over the past 12 months.
There has been over 10 joint partnership events attended where race equality / multi-equality issues were highlighted.
FRAE Fife has been involved in 4 joint project work areas with other local equality organi-sations to promote equality of opportunity across different equality strands. (Fife Mela & Cultural Carnival, Fife Elders Cultural Event, Impact Analysis Training).
FRAE Fife has made over 239 referrals to statutory bodies, private & other agencies in the past 12 months.
FRAE Fife has organised over 6 outreach health screening with over 50 individuals having benefited.
FRAE Fife has also organised 2 Cultural awareness and Health Inequalities Training plus 1 Advocacy and Cultural awareness Training , over 51 individuals received the training.e have organised Diabetes Awareness Events with an attendance of over 26 people.

FRAE Fife organised Fife Equality Conference to promote and create awareness of the New Equality Act 2010 and also to discuss the concerns of delivering the public sector and specific duties.
We organised the Hustings for UK the Parliament election and we are now organising the Scottish Parliament Hustings to be held in April 2011.
