DUNFERMLINE MUSLIM WOMEN’S GROUP MULTI-CULTURAL
MELA/FUN DAY 12th AUGUST 2007

The Mela Fun Day was attended by over 200 people. Although the attendance did not match the previous event, those who turned up had time to go around information stalls and got personal safety information, freebies. As part of Health Advocacy Project, Community Diabetic Nurse Donna Clark and her team were busy screening attendees for Diabetes and High Blood Pressure and they were advised accordingly. There were a number of fabric stalls, henna painting and jewelry stalls. The group are in the process of organising another event that will take place during Autumn time.
